Jeff Kaiden - Founder, Chief Executive Officer Prior to founding Capacity, Jeff served as Senior Consultant at Sigman/Kaiden Consultants, working with clients to develop warehouse designs and implement material handling solutions, including Sears’ outsourced shoe handling facility, and Fresh Direct. Between 1990 and 1995, he worked as project manager on the design, financial modeling, development and construction of private sector infrastructure projects in Southeast Asia with Hopewell Holdings Ltd. of Hong Kong and the Keppel Group of Singapore. Jeff holds a degree in Civil Engineering and Operations Research from Princeton University. Arlen Fish - Founder, Chief Financial Officer Prior to Capacity, Arlen served as Finance Director and Controller of Fulcrum Analytics Inc., a leading customer relationship management firm. Arlen oversaw the day-to-day management of Fulcrum's finances and operations, and led efforts in acquisitions, financing and public registration. Previously, Arlen worked as a Senior Associate with JP Morgan Chase (NYSE: JPM) and as an Assurance Manager with Arthur Andersen. Arlen received a MBA degree from NYU's Stern School of Business (Finance and Entrepreneurial Management) and a BBA degree from University of Wisconsin (Accounting). He is a Certified Public Accountant. Allen Kaiden - Founder, Executive Vice President - Design and Methods Allen serves as President of Sigman/Kaiden Consultants (www.sigmankaiden.com), a warehouse design and distribution consultancy, which has been in operation since 1959. Recent clients include Citibank, The US Defense Logistics Agency, The New York City Housing Authority, ADS/Sears, ADS/Le Gourmet Chef, Aeroquip/Vickers, Ademco Inc., R&B Inc and two Internet grocers. Allen is a graduate of New York University's Industrial Engineering department (B.S., M.S.). Thom Campbell - Founder, Chief Strategic Officer Prior to Capacity, Thom was with Morgan Stanley & Co. (NYSE: MS) for 7 years. In his last position he was the Manager of the Mutual Funds Group at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. In that role Thom was responsible for the business administration and corporate governance of the Morgan Stanley Institutional Funds, with over $50 billion in assets under management, and 12 NYSE-listed emerging markets country closed-end funds. His responsibilities included investment banking and investor relations for the Institutional mutual funds, as well as work with the board of directors of the funds. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Thom was a Project Manager for Bottomline Technologies (NASDAQ:EPAY), implementing electronic payment systems for clients including Fidelity, State Street Bank and Trust, and John Hancock. Thom holds a degree in English from Princeton University. Anthony Ruiz - Facilities Manager Tony has over 18 years of experience in distribution center management, traditional and e-commerce, retail and wholesale. Tony was formerly Director of Retail and Wholesale Operations for Kenneth Cole in New York and served as E-commerce Operations Manager for Nordstrom.com. Prior to that Tony served as Logistics Manager for Nordstrom, in Seattle and in Memphis. He was a Hub Manager for United Parcel Service in Los Angeles, CA, and subsequently Air Zone Operations Manager there. Tony holds a degree in Business Administration, with Music Minor, from University of Southern California. Karim Fofana - Operations Manager Prior to Capacity, Karim worked for over a decade in operations and logistics with a focus on e-commerce, retail and wholesale markets. Karim was formerly an Operations Manager of Unit Sort at Fresh Direct in New York and an operations manager at Paragon Sports. He also worked as the Director of Operations at LBU Inc. a leading accessory manufacturer. He has consistently managed large scale distribution centers and associated staff. Karim was educated in France and attended The University of Seine St Denis. Emily Siegert - Warehouse Manager Emily brings 15 years of warehousing and distribution experience to Capacity LLC. Prior to Capacity, Emily worked for BBS Publishing Corporation in Edison, NJ. As their Operations and Distributions Manager, Emily managed multiple facilities and product distribution for key client relationships including Barnes & Noble, Waldenbooks, Borders and Ingram Book Company. Prior to joining BBS Publishing, Emily worked as the Facilities Director of J&S Warehouse and Transportation Inc. Emily is a graduate of Brookdale Community College. Shai Canaan – IT Operations and Network Manager Shai has over 8 years of project management, system integration, implementation and administration in Information Technologies. In past roles he started a successful IT services company in Manhattan with concentrations in web technologies, networks, and managed teams which streamlined business processes via technology induction. Prior to that Shai managed system analysis and integration projects for American Express, Banks, Hospitals and local governments in South Florida. Shai holds a masters degree in Management Information Systems, from Nova Southeastern University and is a volunteer EMT and American Red Cross instructor. Mike Devivo – IT Project Manager Mike has over 17 years experience in the IT industry as a developer and systems analyst. Prior to Capacity LLC, Mike managed the backend processing systems for web retailer Netgrocer.com including warehouse integration, shipping, and credit card processing. During his formative years, Mike worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in the Capital Markets Systems division, learning high standards of thoroughness and reliability. Mike was on the development team that built the first computerized auction system for the sale of Treasury Bills, and later managed the implementation of a large distributed systems for Savings Bonds processing. Mike holds a BS in Management Systems and a minor in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Jay Patel – IT Project Manager Jay has over 25 years of in-depth IT and business experience. As lead strategist and technical architect for numerous B2C, B2B and supply chain solutions, Jay has worked on many projects as programmer, DBA, Network engineer, architect and project manager at companies including Citibank, Chase Bank, Pfizer, AT&T, Saks Fifth Avenue, Goldman Saks etc. He is expert in most of the current technology and platforms such as .NET, HTML, XML, ASP, VB, C#, TCP/IP, SOAP, CORBA and Java as well as SQL Server and Oracle database. Jay holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from City University of New York and also a certified Microsoft Windows Administrator and Oracle Instructor.
